Prescription and Administrative Team:
The prescription team deal with the processing of all requests for medication across both sites; members of this team have undertaken additional training and are qualified in Medicine Management.
The practice also employs a range of administrative staff whose responsibilities include maintaining patient records, arranging recall of patients and data quality.
The care coordinator team are here to help you and are fully trained.
They aim to do this in an efficient and professional manner. The care co-ordinators may at times need to obtain some health details in order to assess the urgency of the problem so they can direct you to the most appropriate health care professional. Any information you pass to the receptionist will be treated in confidence at all times.
This specific role can be highly demanding, so please be patient with them during busy periods and remember the receptionists are working under the doctors’ instructions and to agree Practice Protocols.
The secretarial team provide efficient patient services including processing of referrals to hospitals, co-ordination of non-NHS work for solicitors and insurance companies.
Should you wish to speak a member of the secretarial they are available Monday to Friday between 10am and 12noon, then 2pm and 4pm on option 2.
