Nurses:

Nurses are trained to offer a wide range of services including travel health, diabetes and respiratory care, well woman and well men clinics, coronary heart disease and family planning services.

All nurses operate a booked appointment system and you should telephone the surgery or call in to make an appointment in order that you see the most appropriately trained nurse.

All our nurses are registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council and have appropriate indemnity insurance.

Health Care Assistants:

The Health Care Assistants offer a range of clinical services throughout the week and across both sites.

They are able to provide venepuncture, new patient health checks, cardio-vascular risk assessments, hypertension reviews, blood pressure and weight monitoring and for some patients anti-coagulant monitoring.

Clinical Pharmacists:

The Surgery employs a clinical pharmacist to work as part of the general practice to resolve day to day medicine issues and consult with and treat patients directly. This includes providing extra help to manage long term conditions, advice for those on multiple medications and better access to health checks.
