Telephone Access – Updated 4.6.2021.

We are aware of the difficulties that some patients are experiencing in getting through to the practice via telephone. We do apologise and we are working hard to resolve this with our IT/telephone supplier.
We are aware that during peak periods, for example during the mornings, phone lines tend to be by far the busiest. Ourselves and other practices in the area are working with the supplier to migrate away from what was an old system to a new one and this work will conclude soon. This new system has additional capacity for practices when a high volume of calls are being experienced.

We will keep you up to date with this and in the meantime ask you to please to bear with us, particularly during peak periods

Booking a COVID Test

If you need medical help, the NHS is still here for you. You should continue to attend your appointments, unless you have been told not to attend by the health care team.
You can still contact your GP, 111 online or call 111 for help. If it’s a serious or life-threatening emergency, call 999. If you are told to go to hospital, it is important that you go. You will receive the care you need.

For support with mental health and well being during this unprecedented time visit every mind matters:

Please note that access for patient appointments may not always be provided at the site your normally attend and you may need to travel a short distance to alternative site of The Park Medical Practice to see a clinician. A member of staff will discuss the options of available appointments with you and suggest the most appropriate clinician for your condition.

Should you need to speak privately to a member of the staff rather than at the reception desk please be aware we have a confidential room available.
In addition to this there this also a slip available for patients to complete if they do not wish for personal matters to be overheard.
Please make your request for either of the above at the front desk of any of our three sites.
