British Sign Language Interpreters available
If you require a BSL (British Sign Language) interpreter, we are able to provide one. Please let us know when booking appointments.
The clinical team at the surgery offer patients a range of appointment times across the week. Routine appointments are often 10 minute duration and can generally be booked in advance; there are also same day appointments available which are intended for urgent cases.
Please note a 10 minute appointment is for one problem; please do not expect several problems to be dealt with at one appointment.
Patients may express a preference of practitioner; whilst we will endeavour to comply with this it may not always be possible.
Appointments can be made via online or by telephoning the reception team on 01772 970150. If we have your mobile number, we can send you a text reminder of your appointment.
The Practice appointment system is facilitated by a team of Care-Coordinators who are trained to help patients access the most appropriate service or clinician as easily and as effectively as possible. The Care Co-ordinator working as part of the Practice team will ask you few questions in realtion to your symtpoms to enable them to direct you to the most appropriate Healthcare Professional in a suitable time frame. Please note that access for patient appointments may not always be provided at the site you normally attend and you may need to travel a short distance to an alternative site of The Park Medical Practice to see a clinician. A member of staff will discuss the options of available appointments with you and suggest the most appropriate clinician for your condition.
Should you need to speak privately to a member of the staff rather than at the reception desk please be aware we have a confidential room available.
In addition to this there this also a slip available for patients to complete if they do not wish for personal matters to be overheard.
