How can I find out a test result?
The quickest and easiest way of finding out your test results is via the NHS App.
When the clinician arranges for you to have a blood test the result is usually available within 7 days. If you are unable to view you results, you can contact us online, or alternatively, call us on 01772 970150 after 13:00.
X-ray and scan reports can take longer than this to come back to the practice. Please view these results via the NHS App after 14 days.
Tests which are arranged by hospital consultants do not automatically come back to the practice until after you have seen the hospital doctor and been given the result personally. To obtain the results of these investigations please contact your hospital consultant for a follow up.
Note that the practice has a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection and we will only release test results to the person to whom they relate unless that person has given prior permission for the release of this data or they are not capable of understanding the results.
